Terms & Conditions
One must have the appropriate permission or the copyright to request a painting from the photo they email/post/hand to Heart in Art.
By sending images you are automatically acknowledging that you either own the copyright yourself or have written permission from the person or parties that own the copyright, so I can paint your order.
Although Heart in Art will refuse to make a painting from any photo that might harm or offend individuals of other religions, races, etc. Customers are both responsible and liable for the images they give to Heart in Art.
I reserve the right to display all photos and paintings on the internet and media.
The copyright in the Artwork will remain with Julia Nash even after ownership of the Artwork is transferred to the Customer.
PAYMENT
On placing an order you will be asked to make a deposit payment, this will be by cheque or cash. Cheques will need to be cleared before artwork(s) can begin.
Once the artwork is complete you will be sent a picture (usually by email) to you to view, after you have seen your completed artwork the full balance will be due. Upon receiving the full balance your artwork will be despatched.
DELIVERY TIMES / DELIVERY COSTS
All artwork(s) are painted to customer order/requirements and have a dispatch time of 3-4 weeks. Delivery times for commissioned portraits may take up to 6 weeks. I always aim to get your painting to you as soon as possible.
UK mainland will be delivered free of charge, any other destinations, please contact me.
COPYRIGHT
It is prohibited by copyright law to duplicate, copy, reproduce or imitate Julia Nash original artworks or any part of this website, without written consent.
All artworks are registered by a third party authority, specialised in copyright infringements recording and investigation.

RETURN POLICY
You can return your purchase to us, within 5 working days (14 days for overseas) after receiving your order, in its original condition, with any seals and shrink-wrap intact and we will exchange your product for a new product of the same type. You can only return received products to us based upon a valid reason. A valid reason does not contain any deviation in size, style, colour or image.
Any damages due to goods in transit can be returned, this must be written proof by the courier. A complete replacement will then be made.
CHANGES TO THE TERMS & CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to change the Terms & Conditions from time to time, and post a new version on our website. The new version will take effect from the time of posting on the site.
